Notes
Tried again for pretty much anything (mainly targeting the Whiting and Flathead).
Eddie picked up the first for the day, a 24cm Bream while drifting. We then beached and fished from a sandbank at low time. From here Sam bagged himself a 50cm flathead on a white bait - the largest fish of the weekend. I got on to a good sized Whiting on a prawn, though lost it close to the bank. Eddie then pulled in two nice Whiting (about 30-35cm) from the same spot using nippers. Before leaving Sam fluked a 26cm Bream as he pulled his line in.
After lunch and some further drifting, we again decided to beach (opposite where we fished from the bank in the morning). Sam managed to land a smaller flathead (about 40cm) from the bank.
We tried the same spot as the successful Whiting fishermen in the evening, though had to return to camp due to an incoming storm.
