Notes
Sight fishing to big bulls in the morning. Spooked them, but got a couple of good takes. Leader was TOO light at 3.5 ilbs and the flies were ripped clean-off. Better to hit this with bigger streamers and 8lbs test leaders. Sink tips needed or split shot on long leader.
Huge afternoon of rainbows in a massive hatch of mayflies. Just awesome. Better spinner mayfly patterns would be really good, better than the Elk Hair Caddis patterns.
