Notes
Karl and I fished Billingsley after the Malad Sunday evening. I caught 3 carp out of the pipe hole; Karl hooked a played a very nice brown for quite awhile before the fish flipped out and snapped his 4x tippet. Karl was nymphing with some sort of rubber-legged nymph.
Karl's nymphing technique for the hole was interesting - standing on the pipe, he would drop the fly in the water with the indicator and let it drift downstream, feeding out line. Then whenever the indicator would do something he would trying setting the hook.
