Notes
Good fishing, low water. Fished the holes and deep runs. Lost a few big ones on warrior, miss a few good hits on hopper. Came across a guy said he was killing them with a #14 purple pheasnt-tail looking nymph below a hopper. Said was getting 16"+ bows down further in the canyon.
Fishing a thin stretch when HUGE bull elk walked up behind me on the riverbank. Bout 15-20 ft btwn us. Rack as wide as I am tall. Just stared at each other and he walked back into bush. Was in awe but also scared the shit outta me. Miss photo cuz frozen on the spot. Lasted ~ 20 sec but seemed like an hour.
