Notes
Today was a nice day compared to the previous and the forthcoming days. I tried fishing for a couple hours below the Lake Dillon dam. I was able to spot some nice rainbows and snagged a 16" that I was sight-nymph-fishing to. I got some interest on a few drifts from a smaller fish, and got plenty of refusals from other fish. I only saw maybe 3 midge adults on the snowbanks and nothing appeared to be hatching. Pretty lethargic fish. It was fun to get out, though, and fun to spot fish.
I did try a #20 cream shrimp pattern from a local fly shop and also some #24 zebra-midge-like patterns without success.

I'm hoping to get out Friday afternoon if it's warm enough (above 25F).
