Notes
First time out, lots of fish in this water. Caught several tui chub, apparently they are invasive. They look a lot like a whitefish. Early is obviously better this time of year for salmonids. Chironomid fishing under an indicator proved best for me. Red chromie size 14 with black bead head. Hooked several that I lost before landing. One was a very good sized Atlantic, probably up to 16 inches. He jumped several times while a fellow angler cheered.
