Brutal hike, ~3.5 miles to summit. Continuous up hill, ~3 1/2 hrs. Scramble down rocks to lakes, relatively easy, ball-buster to come back up. Been easier if not so cold.
Lakes themselves are GORGEOUS! Big fish cruising.
Temp dropped, Min -> no surface action. Heavy wind blowing.
Easy fishing from shore, open areas, easy casting.
Two lakes to right - shallow, no fish. 4 lakes to left, tried largest, caught one.
Probably a fishing bonanza later in year, warmer weather.
