Sea Venture I
Captain Steve De Mauro
Deckhand Jeremy
19 Black Rockfish, five Ling Cod, and two Sea Trout (Box 16 and 21)
I caught a 22" Ling Cod and the Captain feared it would have measured too short at the dock. the ling was released.
The rigging was about a yard long with an 8-10oz. tear weight at the bottom, a bare hook one foot up for the herring, another foot up a hook for a rubber worm , and a fly at the top of the rigging.
Allowing the rigging to jig with the waves worked best. Also, needed to be real patient with the bite.
