Notes
Out for about two hrs - working on OHCA directory. Paddled out past isle by Crabman - Chris was working it - out about .75 mi. Worked the top water in an area where there was some breeze pushing water through some mangrove isles. Small explosion, thought I missed it but it kept after the lure. Gave a nice fight - about an 18" Spec. Circled back around - nada.
Worked back towards the isle in the middle of the lake around the #23 Outside Islands coords. Threw towards the grassy shoreline - another explosion that got away. I thought it was another Spec. It stayed after the lure and locked up in front of the yak - gave a nice fight. This was a 22" Red. Measured and got a pic.
Came on back in. Caught more in an hour than I do all day sometimes.
