Notes

Heard that Ambleside Pier was repaired and open for business. so I decided to go and do a little mud shark fishing on account of Shark month is on TV now. Unfortunately my old Squid bait was all dried out and useless,
I tried a sabaki rig and had some bites but no takers. Sunset was around 9 o'clock so I put a Berkley gulp 2" sand worm and a wire and #4 hook. that too had no takers.

The Honda celebration of light fire works competition started at 10:00p, the pier quickly filled up with people.
The lights on the pier don't work either.

I was told Cates park in North Van is a good place for Flounder and Sand dabs. Use shrimp, 1/0 hooks.
