Notes

Always wanted to try here, heard it's a cure for winter fishing isolation.
Easy to find, weedy, easy wading, mod current. Fished East of the bridge to base of the Falls.
I'm sure the fishing is much better than I experienced only because I was handicapped by forgetting my glasses in the truck so I was limited to fishing with what I had tied on. They liked the smaller flies and, without my glasses, I couldn't see well enough to change out those small flies! After watching multiple surface hits on my float, I was able to tie on a #12 Para Adams (the only thing I could see) and got multiple strikes immediately. Missed ~4-5, landed one. Probably would have done better with a #16 or #18.
Beautiful place, awful smell from local diary ranches, tranquil. Perfect place to cure the winter doldrums.
