Notes

Caught a total of 6 fish, lost a channel catfish and lost a small largemouth.

First caught a channel catfish on southwest side of bridge, amongst the logs. Lost another there shortly afterwards. Caught a small white bass in that region as well.

Moved along to the channel feeding into the Arkansas River, lost a little largemouth there.

Went back to the place I was at on the 3rd (directly west of the bridge) and caught a 12 inch channel catfish and a 11 inch largemouth bass.

Went to the main Arkansas River by walking on sandbars, fished a little bit, but it was far too windy to accomplish anything. Water got really, really murky too. Too murky.

Went back to the little pond/tributary and fished. Caught another small white bass.

Then, worked my way along the northern bank, west of the bridge. Casted near some logs and caught an awesome 18 inch channel catfish. It fought like a beast, making some really hard, long runs, then tired out and felt like a big log...until I got it to the shore. Awesome fish.

I let everything go.
