Notes
Beautiful morning. Cold, plenty of ice in the guides... but all in all a nice morning on the water. I tied new patterns the night before (llama and san juan worm) hoping to use the llama to aggravate some spawning Browns or the worm for a nice rainbow. Alas no hook ups at all. Water was super high this morning. Seemed like a different river. We received snow earlier this week (some still on the ground out in Huntington) and the run off appears to have swelled the river considerably. I just don't know that water well enough to know if that volume ruled our fish altogether or not. I'll have to ask around.
