Notes

Beautiful spot - reminds me of Upper Big Wood. Water clear, low, easily wadeable. Just hopped from one run/hole to the next. Sorta remote, NO fishing pressure.
Easy access to creek, large well-maintained road but out there a bit.
Walked down from road closure and dropped in ~100yds down. Creek is a winding channel with lots of runs and shallow holes. Fished with a small hopper and a T stim, got hit after hit. Very little fishing pressure and the fish are eager.
Took Sadie for her first flyfishing trip and she did well. Just hung out and watched me fish. A little hesitant above crossing the creek but did well after her first crossing.
Fish are on the smaller side but very colorful and fight like hell. Used my 3wt and it was perfect size. Probably some bigger pools/runs downstream and bigger fish but that's for another day.
John turned me on to this place. Said he killed nymphing the pools but I didn't mess with subsurface cuz short time and getting them on the top OK.
