Notes
Took Lisa, Erik and his friend visiting from Calif. Had an awesome time. Everyone caught mega-multiple fish .
Caught some of everything - bows, brookies, whitefish, maybe even a bull or two (Jay wasn't familiar with them so maybe). Avg size ranged from 6-13 inches. Each one of us missed probably twice as many as we caught. The water boiled with strikes. Still the same - big and buggy. Erik caught multiples on some weird #6 purple leggy thing. Hoppers everywhere, lots jumping in the river, fish were crazy.
Weather was good, got hot but no breeze like the day before. Placed was packed with campers and panners. Not too many fishing so we had our pick of the bigger holes and runs - tough finding a big enough fishing area for 4 people AND a place near enough to pull the truck off. Lots of traffic on the road (at least to me who rarely sees anyone during the week).
Everyone had a great time and caught enough to be content. Funny - all up and down a hole/run, you'd hear 'Shit!' or 'Awww' as we missed strike after strike. And whoops when you actually hooked up and (maybe) got it in the net.
