Notes
USGS 13192200 SF BOISE RIVER AT NEAL BRIDGE NR ARROWROCK DAM ID
Canyon Lake
Flowing down at Neal Bridge but heavy water.
Saw 1-2 top strikes and wanted to try the mouse so gave it a shot. Water was SUPER high, just a lake out there with minimal flow. Got one (bull trout?) on second cast. Got a hit 10 minutes later but missed it. Used a small, yellow hopper with red tail. Hoppers at top of canyon but small (#14?). Mormon crickets on the road. Tried the mouse, still gotta work on that one.
HOT day, got hotter by degrees every 15-20 minutes.
No luck on the WB either. Sorta tough casting cuz high water left me in the bushes.
Tired of high water ...
