Notes
Tried surf fishing with Pilchards at Nine Mile Beach at what was supposed to be the best time to fish but had no catches. The tide was coming in and casting was not good at all. The tide would drag our lines right back to sure within a minute. We moved over to the Rock Pool where the current was moving outwards very strongly. Casting into the middle was unsuccessful as the current would pull our lines to the side onto the rocks. We got our lines snagged one every occasion. We did hook one fish around 50cm-60cm but it retreated under the rocks and eventually snapped the rod. Tried a few more casts to finish our bait but just ended up getting snagged on the rocks and had to snap the line.
