Notes
A quick jaunt down to Merrill Park over lunch. I had hoped to fish the Boise River but an angler was already in the main hole I wanted to fish, so I came back and fished the pond for a little bit. It was ridiculously easy to catch the small bluegill. I did best when I simply flipped the fly out and let it sink - I got fewer hits and fewer hookups when I tried retrieving the fly.
I did see one bass that was 12"-14" but I unfortunately scared him before I could cast to him. So that's promising.
