Notes

Took the long haul to Loon Creek. Tough road - def 4WD territory and skinny single lane.
Parked at Tin Cup and walked down ~1-1.5 miles, dropped into creel, wet waded shin deep water all the way back to truck. Fished the holes and semi-deep runs - that's where the action was. Hit a hole with a stimulator, take a few, switch to nymphs, take a few, then when the whitefish started hitting, would move on to the next hole.
Saw some HUGE salmon (30"+) along with some big Bulls in the deeper holes pressed up under overhangs. Almost impossible to cast to and didn't have any big flies (buggers) or heavy line so didn't try too hard.
Water was low, crystal clear, and I was it - can't be beat - period.
