Notes
I tried fishing the big set of riffles underneath Main St bridge but didn't have any luck. A little before dusk little fish started rising consistently in the swirling pool below the bike bridge. It was a pretty tough place to fish because of not being able to wade out very far, and the swirling currents allowed only a couple seconds per drift. I made a lot of casts.
I caught 5 - all on the emergent sparkle pupa. I fished it below an elk hair caddis and I may have had a couple splashes on the elk hair but no hooked fish. I also tried a cdc caddis without luck. I need to find some better riffles where the currents aren't so ridiculous.
