Notes

We fish the lower section today. Much more descript water. Fun to fish with awesome runs around every corner. Again small fish though. The whitefish are bigger than the trout.

I know there are big boys in here 20inchers. I did manage to get a 16" on a hopper. My guess is Rock creek gets too much pressure and the big fish hug the bottom by day and feed at night.

Lots of splashy hits that I missed. The fish seemed wary of striking and would change their mind at the last minute, such that it looked like they hit at the fly but actually completely missed it. Difficult to hook...perhaps showing fishing pressure. Or it may have just been because the fish were dinks!
