USGS 13152500 MALAD RIVER NR GOODING ID
CFS not really reflective of flows beneath dam.
Fished the confluence using old 7 ft 5wt - not as easy as I remember.
Lot of fish and misses on cripple, couple on emerger. Got some hits on surface but underneath was the ticket. Used a tiny Thingamabob for a strike indicater - helped in detecting the sub-surface hits I might have missed.
Missed a BIG brown who threw the fly ~10-15 yds above the confluence.
Another great day at the Malad.
