Notes

Went down to the Malad/Snake confluence, east side. Water was clear, mild flows (142 cfs?), easy access to the channel standing in thigh-deep water. The rocks are VERY slippery! Huge amt of bugs in the air and swarmed me while fishing.
Wanted to try some of the emergers I've tied. Caught most on the PMD Cripple - fish on the first cast. Caught a few on the PMD Emerger too. Alot of surface strikes but they seem to be after sub-surface stuff. Tried and EHC (staple at the Malad) but no luck. Tried some nymphs but again, no luck.
Added PMD Cripple (yellow), King Prince and PMD Emerger pattern but didn't show on drop-down list.
Saw some big fish slurping (16-18 inch Brown and a big bow) but couldn't get them to hit.
Unfortunately, got chased out by a thunderstorm and had to boogie before I could work the big ones more.
