Notes

It was basically a lake from Neal Bridge to the reservoir. Surprisingly, the water was perfect above bridge. Good flow, clear, perfect day - seemingly perfect nymph water. Never got a nibble. Tried a slew of flies. Red beadhead Phes Tail, green stripe PT - from #14-18. GRHE with orange stripe, all sizes. Even the flashy extended body nymph from Orvis that I slew them with last time. Had tied a slew of WB recently but left them in the truck so I fished with the haggard WB's stuck to my vest. Caught them on the end of swing or after a few strips from directly downstream. Caught the little one on a BWO - saw him sipping in the deep pool. Had his bigger brother but lost him. Only topwater action all day.
