Notes
Back out to Devils lake again to see if I could get some more good dry fly action. A front blew in and the Barometer was dropping. It was about 55 F and the wind was blowing really hard. There weren't any bugs on the water and it was freezing. The wind made it really difficult to cast and it seemed like it was definitely a bank fishing day. There were a few other people out there and they were all catching fish using worms and power bait. An Osprey came down and stole a guys fish right in front of me. I caught two fish on a chironomid under a strike indicator. It was a really slow day and would have been better spent on a river.
