Notes
At around 4:30 or so, landed 3 fish, but lost a large Brown (est. 18-20 inches) after a 10 minute fight. This was the largest fish I've hooked this year. Tight-lining the hole right around the bend and picked up the 3 smaller browns. Using the Gold BH Mink and Copper as the point fly and a chartreuse Copper John as the dropper with a single BB split shot. I knew the Brown was big as soon as I struck. Several runs, but as it came closer it made a final powerful flip and the 5x fluoro parted. Gone was the split shot and nymph. I did get a good look at the fish and estimated its size.
