Notes
I got distracted going to fish the Boise as I walked by the Merrill Park pond. I could see a bunch of small bass and bluegill on the south side of the lake. So I fished to them for a bit and caught one small bass and had a bunch of nibbles from bluegills. Then, as I was walking towards Bardenay, the next pond along the greenbelt also caught my eye. There were again bass sitting in the shallows, including a few larger bass. I found one 10' area where bluegills had created nests. It's interesting how the bluegills nest - they build 1' wide depressions next to each other, so there were 10+ nests in this one stretch. They were fairly resistant to attacking any flies.
