Notes

We decided to go for the crappies today, We were told that they were big crappies on the North Point of Cross Lake at a depth of 16 ft. Well we did catch some crappies, but not as big as we were told they'ld be. But the kids had a great time. Natalie got a nothern and that made her happy and Jake was catching more than his fair share of crappies. Even though we didn't get as many fish as we were expecting, over all the kids had fun. The weather was a bit on the chilly side with the sun hiding most of the time behind clouds and it was a bit windy. We are still looking for the walleyes.
