Notes
Long trip. Easily 5 hrs from Boise. Loon Creek road is a bitch - narrow, rocky, rough as Hell.
Creek itself isn't that impressive. Hiked down trailhead just past Tin Cup campground. Access to river is difficult at times. Water was slightly murky, shallow, `20+ feet wide.
Tho seemingly chocked with fish, they were a bit finicky. Tried many patterns until started getting some action on Stimulators.
This has been on my Idaho bucket list for a few years and I've got to say I wasn't very impressed. Not worth the drive.
Next time, will just fish the Salmon.
