Notes

Took Eric up into MFB. Went up thru Edna Creek. The river was clear, a little high - probably from the rain we had had the previous 2 days. Funny, the river was running ~875cfs when I checked before heading out and spiked to 1250+ JUST as we got there. The ideal cfs for MFB is >1000cfs. Might explain why the fish were down and not very active.
Hard day of fishing - threw a lot of different flies, nymphs with little action.
Eric did catch one on his very first cast so we were bummed with the slowness of the day.
I did catch a nice Cutt. Hit the humpy like air-jaws. Didn't do anything special or hit a certain spot, he just attacked it. Had floated the same fly 2-3 times thru the same area before he hit.
Overall - not the usual day on upper Middle Fork
