Notes

I met mom and dad at Oster Lake #1 for some morning fishing. Overall the fishing was decent paced but not great. I never could get any consistent action - I'd catch a fish or two on a fly, then go dead for awhile. I would switch flies and get hits almost instantly. Pretty strange. I tried hanging and bobbing, but there wasn't much wind, and the fish were more aggressive to moving flies. Except if you had powerbait. Dad did pretty good with powerbait - I think he tried spinners for a bit without too much luck.

Most of the fish were pretty small. My biggest fish was maybe 14".
