Notes

I was surprised at the number of bluegill and bass I could spot next to the shore. There are small, clean gravel patches along the shore indicating spawning activity for the bass, bluegill, or both. I had a tougher time catching fish that I thought I would. The fish are hanging maybe 6" to 1' below the surface, and show interest in most of my flies but aren't real aggressive in taking them. Maybe they would be more aggressive in the evening and lower light.

I saw some bass that were 12" or so. Those might be fun on the 3wt. Also saw some 7"-8" bluegill but could not tempt them. Didn't see any carp.
