Fishing was OK. Caught a fair amt in the short time I was there (~ 4hrs) and they were mostly on the smaller side – 7-8 inches with one 12 incher. Lost a 14+ incher on my first cast on the creek in a trailing edge of a run. Didn’t change out my tippet before I started and I guess the stuff on there was old and had degraded so he popped it quick. Getting something like that on the first cast had me seriously jazzed but the fishing sorta degraded from there.
Water was crystal clear as usual but a little on the low side. Just sorta hopped-and-dropped as I went along. Caught most on hoppers,, a few on stims, and a couple on Adams. Was pretty disappointing as a whole.
