Notes

Long drive, overnighted in Orofino and still had to drive a couple of hrs to Kelly. Beautiful, relaxing drive. was tempted often to pull off and try the Clearwater but held true to the goal. Saw one other car and he was heading out.

One of the most beautiful places I've fished. Gin-clear water, remote. Reminded me somewhat of the Middle Fork of the Boise in certain areas. Access was easy from the road to the creek. As usual, I fished a select area and never needed to wander far. Seemed the bigger fish held around the large boulders mid-stream.
Saw alot of Kokanee but no takers. The fish were aggressive, loved the larger Adams.
The cutts were vivid and sleek, brilliant colors.
