First blue catfish ever! caught him in about 4 feet of water. fought him for about an hour on an ultra light rod and 6lb test line, had to bring him in with the bow. kept him and fillet him. did not catch much of anything else. Tried bowfishing for awhile but could not connect with any. Catfish was very fat but had NOTHING in its stomach. Dad thought it was a male. Still no sign of the white bass schools. we saw them this time last year
