Notes
Other than a twelve inch brown, every trout I caught was a holdover. The fish really started to bite around 7:30 - 8, but it was so cold that I had lost feeling in my thumbs and most of my right hand. I couldn't feel the bite, and as it got darker I couldn't see my pole for an indication either. Had it not been so cold I may have landed a few more right before dark, but then again, if it was not so cold they may not have been so active. It was still a good evening taking three trout at fourteen inches, one at sixteen and one at seventeen. The size of the trout was what made this a good evening.
