Central St, scene of last years triumphs, continues to be miserable. I met an older guy called Arthur who I followed down to the bottom of Haverhill St just before Ryer's. I lent him a fly-clear bobber rig and he promptly caught a brookie on a yellow fly. I skunked . . .
