Notes
Headed out of Anchorage at 6:30am. Left on Fueding, left of Kenai Keys, trail on left after electric box 43 right before Dots Fish Camp. Got there at around 8:30-9am. Hiked in. Trail was hard snow. Fished from 10-4. Clear water. Two rainbows. Perfect day. Have no idea why the fishing was so slow. Jerry fished his spey. The hike out sucked. The snow had become soft and hiking out was like hiking up a mountain made of sand. Saw some tundra swans. Their poop is like the size of a large breed doggie poop. Lots of eagles. Stonefly hatch. No signs of bears. Get hiking poles.
