Notes

Fished Lechlade from 08.30 - 12.00, fish caught in peg where wind was blowing directly into, pod of what i believed to be stock fish congregating in this area, for future reference i will call this 'Barrys Point'. 10LB and 8LB fish caught on intermediate slime line, 12' leader of 8LB fluro, big black lure, the bigger the better!! slow retrieve. Barry had a fish on next peg to left on a bung with same big black lure fished static!!

The fish were in a pod and people else where on the lake appeared to struggle unless they were in reaching distance of 'Barrys Peg'.

Fished Bushyleaze 12.00 - 03.30, again fish appeared to be in 2 pods, directly where the wind was blowing and the top left corner (these appeared to be big stocked fish that were put in that day) and according to an angler that had caught his limit of these fish they were full of pellets.

Unless you were in these pegs the fishing was sporadic although fish had been caught on damsels and boobies on the west bank.

My 2 fish fell to a orange booby, 4' leader, sinking line which was left static for a few minutes before being twitched back, the fish were considerably smaller than what had been caught by most anglers that day. Barry was struggling untill a peg where the newly stocked fish were became vacant, he caught 2 in the last half an hour under a bung using a Goldhead Black Buzzer, these were big fish around the 4LB mark.

Enjoyable but 'Peggy'.
