Notes
When I arrived there was a good hatch of PMDs upstream from the Zak hole in the riffle. Browns were rising everywhere. I caught 3 or so from there I think before the hatch ended, and had a few more rises. A big of 14-16” I think. In the mid-evening I switched to streamers and caught a couple with an olive Zonker, and had some jarring strikes. Then as dusk came I moved downstream to the rock with lots of ants on it, where you only have one place to stand or fall off in 10’ of water, and was able to catch a nice 18” brown on a spinner. Lots of fish rising.
