Notes
It was a gorgeous and warm evening in Hagerman. I didn't fish for long, but wanted to check out the mouth of Riley Creek. The sunlight was low and I couldn't spot fish from the falls. I tried a Clouser and caught a small rainbow. I then tried a few nymphs and had one on but that's it. It would be a fun place to fish in the day when you could fish to some bigger spotted fish.
Towards dusk I fished a small pool of Riley Creek below the bigger rapids at the start. I could see a gold trout in there but couldn't catch him. I tried a bunch of flies. Saw quite a few adult caddis in the air. The only fly the trout looked at was an orange sparkle glo-egg.
