Beautiful again.
Water was a little higher than norm but to be expected with the large snowpack of 2010. Not near as clear as usual but early in the season still. Went down a little further than usual above feeders. Flows increased steadily as more feeders added.
The weather was very breezy and rather brisk - polar fleece+. Was constantly harassed by isolated rain/snow squalls all day. No bugs - a plus and a minus.
Fish were finicky, esp for this area. Tried multiple nymph and dries with little luck for a while early on. Did get hits on the strike indicator but no luck when changed over to dries. Finally got into the rythym with the curved, flashback hare's ear.
Caught the avg - ~ 8 inches but spooked larger.
Wil probably be MUCH better in ~ 2-3 weeks.
