Notes

I focused both nights on fishing a #14 and #16 deep sparkle pupa, in both ginger and brown and bright green. Tuesday night I caught 1 fish on the BABG, but Wednesday I caught nothing on the ginger one. I tied a smaller #14 green rockworm larva and fished it Wednesday night with no success. I had a couple fish on a #14 or #18 orange stimulator Tuesday night, then Wednesday night I caught one 8" fish on a #16 elk hair caddis. I had several other rises to it but no fish. All rises to dead drifts. Wednesday, there weren't trout rising in the pool below the log damn thing like I've seen every other night. I still went by the log and worked an elk hair caddis across the top. I had a decent fish on for awhile before it got off. No other hits. I need to make a dancing caddis so I can skim it across the water more effectively.
