Notes

Best day of the year by far. Rushed out of school and hit the water around 5. Paddled to the back far corner by the houses and caught a nice fish on the first cast. Fished the back cove with no bites and then moved on to the point and caught a small fish. Then I anchored myself on the log right around the corner from the point. I made a long cast with the wind to the back corner stump that juts out of the water. Worked it back slow, let it fall and then wham! Big boy nails it, great fight. Pull another one out of the back corner and then pick a few more off all just off the shoreline, all light hits on the drop. Was about to leave when Marty came and wanted to fish. We hit the back cove first and he caught a dink bass and a crappie. Pulled a bunch of nice fish out of the back corner and then slowly worked our way down the shoreline. Toward the back where all the brush had fell I was working back the senko when I felt a nibble. WHAM! Big boy goes airborne and take off, great fight. Worked the left shoreline and missed a big fish. Mart cast down in the same spot and nailed a monster crappie. Great day!
