Notes
I trolled a mohair leech on a sinking line all the way across the reservoir from King's Point and had zero or 1 hit. I changed to using 2 nymphs and had 1 or 2 hits. I tried the rollover scud with no success. The wind subsided and fish started popping everywhere. They were rising to emergers it looked like - you'd mostly just see their dorsal fins as they took stuff subsurface. There were lots of midges around, but they were pretty cream colored. I switched to my floating line and tried a #18 adams and a #20 griffiths gnat but nothing. I tried a stimulator and nothing. I tried slowly stripping in a #16 pheasant tail and nothing. By this time it was dark so I had a #12 pheasant tail and a #16 pheasant tail on and paddled my way back to my car and caught 1 6" trout on the #16. THAT'S IT.
