Notes

Spent most of the afternoon on the motorcycle, stopping at various ponds. This pond behind Wal-Mart sneaked up on me unexpectedly, and I had to give it a try. I parked the bike in the grass and fished the 30% of the bank that was accessible. A nice clear pond with lots of weeds. Hooked into a bass within the first couple of minutes. He was hooked good, and took awhile to get unstuck from the cat tails, and then the treble hook. No other action after that.
