Notes
Got out around 4 o clock to a dead calm lake with blue skies and a burning sun. Made a nice skip cast to the right of the first downed tree on the cove shoreline and hooked up with a small fish. Next cast was directly to the flat rock drop off with no luck. Next cast was no more then 2 feet to the right under the trees and was hit immediately. Strike zone seems to be very small. Worked around and missed 2 fish on the next cove laydown. Made a cast to the laydown to the left of the second cove. Casted the bait directly at the middle of the laydown and hooked a big fish that I couldn't pull out. 10 ft down the shore made a cast to a laydown further off the shore and hit another nice fish. Continued down the shoreline, hitting most of the my on laydowns. Had a nice spree of 3 fish at the end of the day toward the big flat rock cove just before the exit.
