Notes
I caught a 12” rainbow within 15 minutes of fishing the NW corner off the point on a slow, steady retrieve. I caught nothing nor had any hits after that. Interestingly, there weren’t many fish cruising the mud flats like there are on sunny days. The sun causes something to happen, perhaps warmth that causes midge larvae to come out, that brings fish up to cruise the shallows and pluck things off the bottom.
