Notes
Fished gravel bars above reservoir looking for spawning bows. Mostly used egg-sucking leeches and streamers;; also tried drifting egg.
After fishing river, we float tubed Canyon Ferry Reservoir with icebergs. Froze my ass off. Lost my toes. Had one strike on an egg-sucking bugger.
Only two hits between two fisherman all day. Think the cold front shut the fish down. Did I mention it was cold?!!! Saw a very nice bow (5lb range) landed by a Redneck Bucky flyfishing from the bank.
