Notes
Decided to do a little exploring and made a short fishing trip to the Palouse River above Laird Park. The fish aren't big, but it was still fun. Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if there are some fish over 14" in there.
It requires a bit of wading to find good holding pools. I basically just had to get in the middle of the creek and work my way upstream. The banks are too wooded and brushy to fly-fish unless you're actually in the water.
The brook trout are absolutely gorgeous. Some of the most beautiful I've seen. Not a bad place to go again when I need a change of scenery.
